Weddings

Many couples choose to be married in church because they wish to show before God that they are serious about the vows they are taking. When we invite God to be a part of this special day, we are asking for his blessing and strength to help us live out our promises.
Holding the service in Church enables other Christians to be part of the commitment the Bride and Groom are making, and during he service they too pledge their support and prayer for the couple.
At the end of the service we ask for God’s blessing upon the newly weds, a blessing which we are confident He wants to give.

If you would like your marriage service in one of our churches in Edgehill, please download this brochure and then contact the vicar. He will send you the forms you need to get going. Once he has the forms he will arrange to meet with you to explore your reasons for wanting to be married in church and to check your legal qualifications to marry. A date and time for your marriage can then be agreed.
