Prayer

We try to make prayer a high priority because we believe that by prayer we tune in to God’s plan to grow his Kingdom on earth. By prayer we receive his Holy Spirit who guides us in his ways, gives us strength, healing and wholeness to enable us to proclaim his Kingdom and affect our communities for good and for God.

Apart from our public worship, prayer is encouraged in our Small Groups where we can both learn and practise prayer. We also have a number of regular meetings for prayer as follows.

Intercessory Prayer

Each of our small groups is invited to pray regularly for a particular organisation in the church on a regular basis, seeking to receive of God his guidance by quiet reflection and listening and passing on words, pictures and scripture to encourage that organisation and to receive regular updates on needs and thanksgivings.
